DHC Deep Cleansing Oil, an olive oil facial cleanser.
A friend recently introduced me to this Japanese skin care line, and I am hooked! This cleanser goes on as an oil and then it foams as you massage it into your skin. It will remove all traces of makeup – eye makeup included – and it will leave your skin feeling so soft and fresh. Check out the product on the DHC website, and you can also find it on Amazon. I fell for this product for 3 reasons: It leaves my skin super clean without drying out my skin, I love the idea of using all natural ingredients like olive oil on my skin, and I am convinced that when it comes to skin care, the Japanese know best! What are you looking for in a cleanser and what are you currently using?? I am all about testing new products so I would love to hear your thoughts! This cleanser sounds amazing! I normally use Aveeno skin brightening cleanser because it smells good, has tiny micro beads that gently exfoliate, and it leaves my skin feeling clean and fresh without feeling tight and dry. However, I have been wanting to try something new so I think I will definitely check this product out! I love the idea of all natural ingredients. Thanks for the recommending this Jan! I’m completely lost when it comes to chosing a face cleanser! I currently use Queen Helene Oatmeal and Honey Scrub, and it’s just meh, and kind of hurts my skin. This looks lovely!

I am still using Cetaphil because it’s a mild cleanser but I feel like this could be my ticket! I have sensitive skin so I don’t like anything too strong. I like the idea of using olive oil on my skin too. Thanks for the tip!
I have VERY acne prone skin, and the sound OIL in a cleanser scares me. Could I use this? Or would it cause me to break out? I used proactive for years and it helped my acne, but birth control has been my answer:) I have the clearest skin I have had in my life because of it. I love the idea of all natural, but so many things make me break out, especially oil. Will this?
Great question! I do not have acne prone skin, but I will say that it goes on as an oil and then immediately foams up for a very non greasy lather! I have been reading lots of reviews on it- there are 1484 reviews on the company’s website and the ave review is 5 stars so that’s a good sign. A lot of ppl who gave reviews said they had oily skin and that this product balanced their skin and did not break them out. Crazy how everyone’s skin reacts to products SO differently! The good thing about this product is you can buy a very small bottle for 4.95 so you can test it in your skin without spending too much money…

I had used Neutrogena Facial bar soap for forever, until your last skin care post, then I switched to Cetaphil. It is ok, not loving how it doesn’t have a lather, but I have to be careful, super sensative skin! Would love to try something new
If you like a lather, you will like this stuff a lot more than the cetaphil! It gets foamy and feels so good rubbing on your face:) it’s a little more expensive but not outrageous…a small bottle is 12.50 but a little goes a long way!

Rachael and I were talking about this cleanser at work recently and how we love how you keep coming up with these great products! I switched from an olay cream cleanser to aveeno foaming and I love how the foam makes me feel cleaner..so I can’t wait to try this next!
