I can’t get enough of this fall weather!!! It feels so perfect outside. Since we spent most of the week working in our apartment, we spent the majority of the weekend walking around the city, soaking up the fall. A few photos from the week…
This week, we did a lot of stuffing, sealing, and addressing for our latest Miller Mobley Photography promotion! They look so good, and the inside is even better. Every time I seal one up, I like to say a little prayer that one gets in the hands of the right person. It is so much fun chasing after this crazy dream of ours…
Falafel and hummus from Taim in the West Village. This is a place we go at least twice a week – it’s quick, cheap, healthy, (all vegetarian) and delicious. And if you live in the West Village area…they deliver!
We spent a good bit of Saturday walking around like tourists in Times Square and around 5th avenue. Anyone in the 5th ave. area should stop by Henri Bendel. This place is like a little play land…I feel like a kid in a candy shop every time I walk in! They always have the most fun, colorful, sparkling displays and there’s always someone giving out free samples or wanting to give you a makeover. They also have a great selection of jewelry designers, cosmetics, and unique little gifts – anyway, it’s always been place that puts me in a good mood when I walk in – and their holiday displays are always the best!
Miller and I watched a TED talk on how it is possible to do pretty much anything for 30 days. We decided to stop eating bread for 30 days (except for on Saturdays) because that is the one food that we have absolutely no self control on – I could live happily on an all bread diet! For some reason we skipped last Saturday so yesterday was our 14th day of eating zero bread. I’m so proud of our discipline!!! We decided to reward ourselves in the best way possible…Shake Shack burgers!
I was one happy camper while we waited in line for 30 minutes…Yep, a 30 minute line just for a burger.
Ohhh yes…One of the reasons these are the perfect burgers because they are’t too big, so you don’t feel all stuffed and miserable after eating one.
Bought my first Christmas present of the year for somebody in our fam! There are few things that make me happier than buying Christmas presents…I was seriously giddy when we bought this gift!
Our friends, Blake and Scotty, were so sweet to invite us over for dinner Friday night. Blake served dinner on an actual table which is a total treat because Miller and I are used having dinner on the sofa most nights. I am loving all the color that was happening on the table setting…gorgeous!
This afternoon, Miller and I went to NYMag’s annual Grub Street Food Festival. It is really hard to go to a food festival when you are on a no bread diet…cupcakes, crepes, macaroons, hotdogs, and tacos were a few of the things eyeing us down. But we stayed strong, and when we can’t eat bread…we eat corn. We walked all through the festival and all we got was two corn on the cobs! But, this corn from Mrs. Lily’s was so good, that I didn’t even miss all the bready stuff.
We went all the way to the tip top part of Central Park today – 110th street- for a jack o’lantern lighting at twilight. Miller and I were just about the only people there without little children, but I am determined to soak up all the holidays here in NYC, so I’m glad we went! Plus, we got lots of great costume ideas from all the cute kiddos! I can’t get over how gorgeous Central Park…
My favorite jack o’lantern…
We are going to Boston this week for a photo shoot! I’m so excited because I’ve never been to Boston before…If anyone has any recommendations of things we should do or places we should eat, please let me know!

is the bergdorf box for meee!
I am so jealous of the SHAKE SHACK trip!!!! I’m really craving one of those burgers and definitely the fries!
