I can’t get over how gorgeous New York is this time of year. It’s so pretty, I have to pinch myself every time I walk outside of our apartment! This week went by really fast…Miller had 4 meetings that went extremely well and we lined up a couple of ads jobs that we are very excited about!!! It’s going to be a busy few months. Photos from the week…

Central Park…

One of our evening walks through the West Village…

The city is starting to light up!!! I made Miller walk through Macy’s with me today so we could get in the Christmas spirit!

Dacquoise at Tartine in the West Village. One of my favorite desserts ever. This plus a cup of coffee is heaven!!!

The holiday shops are open at Bryant Park- this is such a fun way to spend an afternoon! Lots of unique vendors, food, and it’s just such a pretty spot…

AND there’s ice skating!

If you are shopping on the Upper East on 5th or Madison, Fred’s at Barneys is a great place to grab something to eat. All of their salads are DELISH.

There are always people protesting about something in New York, but seeing this sign today made me really sad. These people are protesting on behalf of the horses that take people on the carriage rides around 5th avenue and through Central Park. I’m sure not every owner treats their horses badly, but this photo is going to make me think twice about ever taking one of those rides.

So I petted about 300 different dogs and cats today! And loved every second of it. We went to the annual Meet the Breeds event where they had almost every breed of dog and cat. Kind of a weird thing to go to, but so much fun! I fell in love with this cat…she had the most beautiful and SOFT fur.

And lastly, I could not be more proud of the way my brother, Brad, played in his “Senior Day” game on Saturday. It was his last day to ever play in Bryant Denny Stadium, and he played absolutely incredible. I can’t think of a more special way to finish things off…player of the game and two touchdowns! Our family is so proud!!! So excited about the Iron Bowl this weekend! Can’t believe, yet again, how much is riding on this game…Roll Tide Roll!!!
