Lately, I have done a terrible job blogging about where to eat in New York City…and that is my very favorite thing to do and share. My phone screen is cracked in a million pieces (why I haven’t had it fixed in the past 2 months, I don’t know?!?) so I have very little inspiration to take pictures of everything like I used to. Must remedy that, immediately.

Anyway, here are a few things we have eaten lately, that would be worth trying. All three are kind of “down and dirty” type foods. And all three, DELICIOUS.

Katz’s Delicatessan. You are probably thinking, what an obvious choice… Katz’s is famous and everyone already knows about it. This is true, everyone does know about it, but most people I talk to haven’t actually gone. And trust me, it is worth going. Order the pastrami on rye.

The fried chicken biscuit with hot sauce and honey butter at Pies’n'Thighs. This is heaven in your mouth. My mouth is watering just looking at the picture. Also, go for their incredible doughnuts.

Barbecue at Hill Country. You will not feel like you’re missing out on real Southern barbecue when you try this place…They even have SWEET TEA! Also try Fetta Sau in Brooklyn- probably even better, but I don’t have a picture to share.
