Thanks so much for checking out my blog! Here’s quick rundown about me and my blog…
I was born and raised Tuscaloosa, AL, and lived there for the first 26 years of my life. Almost four years ago I married Miller, my bff, the best man in the whole world, who happens to be an incredible photographer. We have been running our photography business together (I work as his manager/producer) for the past two and a half years, and I could not be more thankful that I get to wake up everyday and work towards something I’m passionate about. Miller and I have HUGE dreams so we moved to New York City two years ago to start going after them!
My blog started as a personal journal type of thing – mostly so Miller and I can look back and remember details about our time in New York. I also wanted to show people who don’t know much about New York that there is so much more to this great city than Times Square, 5th avenue, and all other things touristy. I soon found myself wanting to blog about more…I wanted to write about anything that brings me joy or that I find interesting so that’s what I started doing. And there’s a whole lot of stuff that brings me joy…family, food, fashion, people, people with a passion, other blogs, friends, Jesus, books, travel, design, health, magazines, photography, the list goes on and on! So I guess you will never really know what to expect from my blog because it’s usually something different every day. Thanks again for checking it out…I hope you enjoy!

Jana,
Great blog. I wanted to say hey and I’m sorry I wasn’t able to go over and speak to you today at Jim ‘n Nicks (new bosses needed to head back to work and I was driving). I hope things are going well for you and have a great summer. Congratulations on the marriage and keep up the good work here.
Sincerely,
Paul Bell
